Adult Hearing Assessments

Hearing Screen –  £25 (This will be discounted from the cost of any hearing aid purchased from us)

This appointment includes:

  • A full history

  • Ear examination

  • Hearing screen and explanation of results

  • Hearing Aids are available at an additional charge. Prices starting from £550 up to £3000 dependent on required technology


Comprehensive Assessment - £125

This appointment includes:

  • A full history

  • Ear examination

  • Diagnostic Audiometry (with or without masking as required)

  • Tympanometry (middle ear function test)

  • Explanation of results

  • Clinical report to ENT or other specialist / employer

Some or all of this cost may be covered if you have private medical insurance


Hearing Aid Retuning and Repairs

Assess and retune appointment (approximately 60 minutes in duration) - £250 (dependent on device)

This appointment includes:

  • A full history

  • Comprehensive hearing assessment and explanation of results (which are also provided in written format)

  • Reprogramming of hearing aid/s to current hearing levels

  • Verification of fitting using Real Ear Measurements


Repairs including retubing, adding programmes and replacing wax guards - from £50

Custom earmoulds, swim plugs and ear protection are available from £100 a pair.


Children’s Hearing Assessments
(3 years & above)

Initial assessment (approximately 45 minutes in duration) – £100

This appointment includes:

  • A full history

  • Comprehensive hearing test and explanation of results.

  • Hearing Aids are available as clinically appropriate. Prices on request

12 week follow ups - £50

Reports to ENT specialists, health visitors or schools available at additional cost - £25


Complex Needs Hearing Assessment 

Initial assessment (approximately 60 minutes in duration) – £100

This appointment includes:

  • A full history

  • Comprehensive hearing assessment and explanation of results.

  • Hearing Aids are available as clinically appropriate. Prices on request.

  • Price includes a telephone consultation with carer prior to clinic appointment in order to ensure our assessment is tailored to the individual needs of the client.


Tinnitus Clinic
(Adults & Paediatrics)

Initial Assessment and Management (approximately 75 minutes in duration) – £180

This appointment includes:

  • A full history

  • Comprehensive hearing assessment and explanation of results.

  • An Individual Management plan which will include practical techniques for reducing tinnitus awareness such as sleep counselling, relaxation, sound therapy and lifestyle changes

Follow up appointments ( approximately 45 minutes) – £50

Virtual tinnitus consultations are available at a reduced cost for those who are looking for general tinnitus advice or are unable to travel to our clinic sites. These appointments do not include hearing assessment or ear examination - £130

Some or all of this fee may be covered if you have private medical insurance

Services available at additional cost include: -

  • Hearing aid provision

  • Retraining devices

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

The provision of hearing aids or retraining devices will require a further appointment and prices are dependent on recommended technology.


Sound Sensitivity Clinic (Adults and children)

Initial Assessment and Management (approx. 75 minutes in duration) – £180

This appointment includes:

  • A full history

  • Comprehensive hearing assessment and explanation of results.

  • An Individual Management plan which will include practical techniques for reducing sensitivity

Virtual sound sensitivity consultations are available at a reduced cost for those who are looking for general sound sensitivity advice or are unable to travel to our clinic sites. These appointments do not include hearing assessment or ear examination - £130

Follow up appointments (approximately 45 minutes in duration) – £50

Group Sound Sensitivity Sessions

(approximately 2 hours in duration)

These sessions are predominantly aimed at parents with children experiencing symptoms of sound sensitivity and will include general information about sound sensitivity in children and suggested management techniques. There will also be the opportunity for short specific 1 – 1 advice. 

Maximum of 8 adults per session – £30


Dizzy Clinic

Initial Assessment and Management  (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes in duration) – £180         

This appointment includes:

  • A full history

  • Comprehensive hearing and balance assessment and explanation of results.

  • An Individual Management plan which may include the Epley manoeuvre or vestibular rehabilitation exercises as appropriate

Follow up appointments (approximately 45 minutes in duration) – £50

Epley Maneuver - £60


Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Tinnitus, Sound Sensitivity or Balance Problems

CBT sessions (60 minutes in duration) - £60

The format of the session will be determined on an individual basis and can be conducted in clinic or virtually via TEAMS.

A course of CBT based therapy usually requires 6 - 8 sessions

Clients must have attended an initial tinnitus, balance or sound sensitivity assessment either virtually or in person prior to commencing CBT.

Wax Removal 

Initial appointment approximately (approximately 30 minutes in duration) –  £50 for one ear,  £70 for two ears

This appointment includes:

  • A full history

  • Examination of the ear(s)

  • Removal of wax by micro suction

  • Ear care advice

Please note a £25 examination fee will be charged if our assessment shows wax removal is not required.

Clients are advised to use almond / olive oil drops for a week prior to consultation to aid with wax removal. Hard wax may require more than one chargeable appointment to be completely removed.
